2008 HAED SAL Challenge - January
This weekend was the first SAL Challenge for the new year. I decided to keep Goblin Tree as my SAL project this year. I have 6 pages completed so far. I decided to move along across the top, so I started page 3. I got around 700 stitches in this weekend. Not bad considering I spent most of this weekend doing grocery shopping and errands. I still love stitching her. It was fun to get back to her this weekend.
I put Curley Tailed Rosey back on the rods last week and got a few stitches in. She's a lot of fun to stitch too! I think I'll get back to her for a bit this week. I'm stitching her in VC Silks and it's so much fun to play with the silks!
One more (enabling) point. I was wandering around cyberspace just before the holidays and found this. Something about it struck me, and I had to have it! So I signed up for the auto ship over at Needlecraft Corner , Drema is really nice and she set me up. So far I've gotten the first 2 double flip-its, some yummy 32 ct. Cream Lambswool Lugana, and all the spectialy threads for each of the first 2 designs. I don't know where I'm going to fit it in, but I need to make room for it. Courtney let me know that there's a SAL for this too! Lizzie Kate SAL I am reluctant to sign up as I don't know if I will be able to keep up. My HAED's take up a lot of my free time!
Once again, thank you for your well wishes for my MIL. She is continuing to improve slowly.

Happy New Year! I am so pleased to see you back with Goblin Tree, you have done so much on her!
hugs
Great progress on Goblin Tree.
I'm a fan of Lizzie Kate, although I'm trying to resist this particular piece. The only reason being is I have so many other things on the go and that I want to do, that I feel foolish to add another to my ever growing list of starts. Oh well, you only live once, right?!
